About

Why Robin Social Media

Hi I’m Dianne, my background is from charities and local government. I moved into social media marketing later in my career.

I am a creative and an ideas person, I quickly found combining image making with writing something I really loved to do.

It made sense to bring my creativity, skills and ideas into something I care about, nature and sustainable living. Throw in three years experience of working with social media and training courses and here we are!

The way I see it, helping and supporting your business that provides goods or services with positive social and environmental factors at the core of its values and help you grow to become a mainstream solution to everyday living is a great way to help people and the planet.

Although I utilise other platforms for my business my preferred platform is definitely Facebook and Instagram. With a wide range of posting options, communities and sizable usage and demographic spread across the two platforms, they make a good combination with a big enough pond in which to cast the net.

My family and home life is hugely important to me, and I usually find it to be equally important to my clients. Which is why collaboration and nurturing a good and trustworthy professional relationship is high on my list of values.

Why The Name Robin?

So if my name is Dianne I guess you could be wondering why the name Robin?

There’s a simple answer to this question, basically I love Robins. I love their vibrant colour and cheerful song, and enjoy seeing them most mornings on my walk.

They symbolise good luck, happiness and rebirth, I’m certainly signing up for those! They are also friendly, adaptable and quick thinking – I like to think these are characteristics I demonstrate!
